With Red cherry, raspberry, and cranberry at the core, accented by dried rose petal, subtle clove, and a mineral edge characteristic of the region’s Goldridge soils. The palate is finely structured, with polished tannins framing a vibrant mid-palate of red fruit and savory undertones.
The 2022 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is the first release of this new wine. We always wanted to make a Pinot Noir from the Sonoma County region, and we were very fortunate to stumble upon this beautiful vineyard called “Twin Hills”, which is located in the Green Valley district of the Russian River Valley AVA. The Green Valley area is the cooler part of the RRV AVA. The Pinot Noir from this region is typically very elegant with bright fruit characters and vibrant acidity.
Our Pinot Noir is named “Chong Feng” 重逢, to reunite. Reuniting with old friends and family is one of life’s joyous moments that we treasure dearly. We crafted this wine to celebrate the unity that bonded all of us together.
