Description

Our 2023 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir displays a vibrant ruby hue with delicate garnet edges. On the nose, it opens with an inviting bouquet of ripe red cherries and wild raspberries. Floral notes of violets and a touch of vanilla bean from French oak aging add complexity. On the palate, the wine is silky and well-balanced, offering bright, juicy flavors of cranberry, pomegranate, and muddled plum, framed by soft, polished tannins and lively acidity. Earthy undertones of forest floor and anise emerge mid-palate, leading to a long, refreshing finish with lingering notes of baking spice and red fruit. 150 cases made.

Our Pinot Noir is named “Chong Feng” 重逢, to reunite. Reuniting with old friends and family is one of life’s joyous moments that we treasure dearly. We crafted this wine to celebrate the unity that bonded all of us together.

On the nose, the wine displays a load of pretty red fruits with hints of dried rose petals and savory pastries. The medium-level acidity and subtle tannins produce a well-balanced and energetic mouthfeel. The finish is smooth and long with notes of toasty baking spice and cookie crumbles.
